I have been a full time, active REALTOR since 1981

Received my Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation in 1995

Received my Certified Residential Brokerage Manager (CRB) designation in 1997

Received my AT HOME WITH DIVERSITY designation in 2001

Received my Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) designation in 2009

Received my Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) designation in 2009

From 1981 to 1987- I was a top sales associate with Coldwell Banker Eagle Rock in Idaho Falls. I was also Secretary-Treasurer of the Idaho Falls Board of REALTORS in 1987. Further I served as Equal Housing Opportunity/Fair Housing Chairperson for the Board from 1987 to 1993 & from 1997 to the present as the Fair Housing technical advisor.

In 1987, I became the designated broker for Coldwell Banker Eagle Rock & had full responsibility for training, sales & marketing, advertising & qualified as a Master Accredited Coordinator for the Coldwell Banker Referral Network. I implemented a weekly 1/2 hour television program featuring the company’s listed properties, as well as various guest speakers on topics of real estate related interest which ran for 6 years. I was in charge of content, scheduling, production. I maintained a multi-million dollar personal production level while I was Broker, earning the President’s Circle Award. My responsibilities gave me a wide range of expertise & a large pool of contacts that are invaluable in my service to my clients.

In 1991, I was elected REALTOR of the Year for the Idaho Falls Board of REALTORS. I was the district representative to the Idaho Association of REALTORS Professional Development Task Force- the entity responsible for the yearly GRI training programs.

In February 1995, I affiliated with RE/MAX Homestead Realty as an Associate Broker & have continued my multi-million dollar production level since my move to RE/MAX, earning the RE/MAX 100% Club Award & the RE/MAX Hall of Fame Award. I earned my Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation in 1995. In July, 1997 I earned my Certified Residential Brokerage Manager designation (CRB). I was a certified pre-licensure Instructor for the Idaho Real Estate Commission for 12 years. In June, 2000, our committee won a Best Practices award from HUD for our Fair Housing Program & I earned the AT HOME WITH DIVERSITY designation from the National Association of REALTORS & qualified as a certified instructor for the course. In 2002, I received the prestigious Anne Alexander Award for Notable Continuing Service to the REALTOR Community. I am a charter member of the Idaho Fair Housing Forum. I recently completed my certifications as a Certified Negotiations Expert (CNE) & Certified Distressed Property Specialist (CDPE), to better assist my clients with current real estate issues. I am also the Affirmative Marketing/Fair Housing representative for the Greater Idaho Falls Association of REALTORS.

As a former military spouse, I experienced many moves & am personally aware of the many stresses associated with the sale or purchase of one’s home as well as relocation to a new area. I know how vital good rapport & communication are throughout the entire process. I am dedicated to understanding my clients’ needs & goals & doing everything in my power to help them meet as many of them as possible.

All these activities are important to me as they help me stay on the cutting edge of the real estate profession & allow me to better serve my clients. I continually strive to increase my skills & expertise in a constantly changing business to benefit my clients.

While I have worked hard to earn my designations & credentials, my greatest pride is in the satisfied buyers & sellers I have been able to serve during my years in the real estate business.
